Terms of Service

Effective date: April 25, 2026 · JRICKSS Financial Services LLC

1. Acceptance

By engaging JRICKSS Financial Services LLC ("we," "us") for any service or by submitting an intake form on this site you accept these Terms of Service together with our Privacy Policy and any service-specific engagement letter we send you.

2. Services we provide

Tax preparation (federal & state), ITIN W-7 applications (we are Certifying Acceptance Agents), IRS representation, real estate brokerage in New Jersey, business formation, immigration support (under attorney supervision), and a paid tax-pro education program. Each engagement is governed by its own engagement letter; in case of conflict the engagement letter controls.

3. Fees, payment, refunds

Service fees are quoted before work begins. Master Course purchases via Stripe (Standard $497, Pro $797, Firm License $1,497) are governed by our 30-day satisfaction guarantee. Tax preparation fees are non-refundable once the return has been e-filed or transmitted. Disputed charges should be raised first with us at [email protected] before contacting your card issuer.

4. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the completeness and accuracy of the information you give us. We rely on what you provide and are not required to audit it. You agree to keep your tax records and substantiation; the IRS holds you, the taxpayer, ultimately responsible for the return.

5. Professional limits

We are not your attorney for general legal matters unless a separate written engagement with our supervising attorney is signed. We are not your investment adviser. Tax advice in casual conversation, social media, blog posts, and the Master Course is general education, not personalized advice.

6. IRS Circular 230 & due diligence

We comply with Treasury Circular 230 standards governing tax practitioners. For Earned Income Tax Credit, Child Tax Credit, American Opportunity Credit, and Head of Household status we follow IRC §6695(g) due-diligence requirements and may ask follow-up questions; refusal to respond may prevent us from completing your return.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law our total liability for any claim arising from a service is capped at the fees you paid us for that engagement. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or for IRS penalties and interest caused by information you provided that turned out to be inaccurate.

8. Indemnification

You agree to defend and hold us harmless from claims arising out of inaccurate or fraudulent information you provided.

9. Intellectual property

All content on this site, the Master Course PDF, the OBBBA Sample, and our internal templates are owned by JRICKSS Financial Services LLC. Master Course buyers receive a personal-use license; the Firm License tier permits use within one firm, not resale.

10. Acceptable use

Do not upload illegal, infringing, defamatory content, malware, or anything you do not have the right to upload. Do not attempt to access another client's data or our systems without authorization.

11. Termination

Either side may terminate the engagement with written notice. Fees for work already performed remain due.

12. Governing law & venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to conflict of laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Essex County, New Jersey, except that small-claims actions may proceed in your local small-claims court.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms; the effective date at the top will change. Continued use after the change is your acceptance.
